A master piece it is the third Album after Upendo wa Ajabu and Hossana Hossana. The album has eight encouraging songs written in Kiswahili but with English translation to cover a wide audience. The songs have been carefully done and directed to the present generation described in Psalms 63; desiring God's touch for the spirit and body.
"Sitingiziki" the first song means I CANNOT BE SHAKEN. Song number two "Tulia Moyo" means CALM DOWN MY SOULl. Song number three "Usiogope" means DO NOT FEAR based on Joshua 1:9. Song number Four "Natangaza" means I PROCLAIM based on preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. Song number five "Umeinuliwa" means LIFTED UP based on the name of Jesus and resurrection. Song number six "Chagueni leo" means CHOOSE THIS DAY is based on Joshua's message choose this day whom you want to serve. Song number seven "Ni Nani Aliyesadiki" meaning WHO HAS ACCEPTED is based on the question who has believed the Gospel. Song number eight "Mke Aliye Mwema" is based on the VIRTUOUS WOMAN based on Proverb 31.

King David used Psalms to reveal his relationship with the Almighty.

Many singers derive their most inspirational songs from Psalms. Nevertheless it is possible to pick from verses here and there in the bible to include in the talk from God to man. The Word of God tells us that Jesus came to strengthen the law of Moses and do away with hypocrisy. Today's Christian is supposedly in a more heightened sensitivity level in the new format of observing the law. The young wealthy man found it too hard to exchange his riches with the kingdom of God in terms of supporting the poor. Today's mentality is the same, "l have spent all this time building up my wealth if l have to let God in, He has to be a part of my wealth".
King David taught otherwise in 1 Chronicles 11:19 David poured as a sacrifice the water that the three heroes had sacrificially gotten from the well by the gate of the city. The relationship of King David and God has much to be desired. David was not shy about God probably because of what he had gone through with God's help through life. Today all kinds of things are robbing us that special time with God where we can reflect who God is to us. The first chapter of the book of Isaiah describes what God is interested in as the foremost in our lives-- Isaiah 1:18 says "come let us talk", God gives us a chance to reconcile, to sort out our sins. I reckon God's interest is for us to ask for help from Him to inspire us to be used of Him. Jeremiah 9:3 humiliates our human bravery by telling us that we have missed the important point by a life of hypocrisy filled with lies. The bible teaches us what happens with the children of God over and over again recreating the wheel all the time but little improvement of the same. We are better in technology but not in the spiritual realm that requires our obedience much more for our own good. King David tried his best, his secret the Holy spirit. Very interesting is that before Jesus ascended He also gave instructions to wait for empowering with the Holy Spirit in Acts 1:8, the future siblings of David need the Holy Spirit to survive effectively just like their father David did. Ephesians 1:7 tells us about the line of David, today David still reigns through Christ and those who have accepted the truth of God. The Holy Spirit is not a newcomer in the scene but like in the times of David and Paul He is with us today. Today time is scarce as time is money, do we have time for God, we better. In the book of Isaiah 1:2-3 the Word is addressing the heavens as well as the earth telling them of our stupidity in our hearing, "my people don't think", the time to think or meditate the Word is what we lack most. Do we have a chance? Isaiah 1:19 tells us that obedience is the key. The Holy Spirit supplies understanding and we build faith over time like King David who faced Goliath by borrowing from his past experience with God. David was man after God's own heart, Holy Spirit. He revealed his relationship with the almighty so that we can also do the same through our LORD and saviour Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit through obedience. To all the children of God all over the world let us take heed and serve the most high effectively by obedience.

My Third album - Inspirations

I am currently writing music for my third album. Overview on the first three follows:

Inspired by the message in Isaiah 53, l have in me to put forth a song on the Messiah bearing the sins of mankind. The revelation of the Messiah by the prophet Isaiah so early in time and passage of time to a time like this when out of all that is going on we find ourselves looking forth to his coming again.

The reality of His suffering to bear our grief and sorrows and the power of the Holy Spirit in raising Him up gives me hope that all is not shambles and my debts have been paid, Verse 5: “But He was wounded for our transgression, He was bruised for our iniquity the chastisement for our peace was upon Him and by His stripes we are healed.”

As a wife and woman in the ministry l feel inspired to write a song that gives a picture of a virtuous woman whom we would like to be as women. Inspired through the woman described in Proverbs 31, l feel to sing on a desire to be trustworthy, good, hard working, caring, prayerful, loving, compassionate, organized, strong and honorable, wise and kind. It is the prayer of every woman that her children call her blessed and her husband praise her. Above all verse thirty concludes by saying “Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing but a woman who fears the LORD shall be praised”.

In process is a song inspired from Isaiah 61:10 “ l will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God: for He has clothed me with garments of salvation, He has covered me with robes of righteousness as a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels”. As a woman l am always interested in what l wear, in the same way l yearn that my spirit be adorned by the presence of the Holy Spirit my Councilor.

When did you begin performing and how many CDs have you produced?

Dear Ali,
I began singing at a very early age in church, at weddings and at family gatherings. As an adult, I began singing Church worship music after I was married in 1996. My first CD, Upendo Wa Ajabu, was released in 2006 and my second, Hossana Hossana, was released in 2008.
